Silver Dollar City's Bluegrass and BBQ Festival was named the 2011 Bluegrass Event of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA). See electrifying performances by some of the top names in Bluegrass music, from award-winning favorites to red-hot rising stars! 2014 Bluegrass & BBQ Festival performance details coming soon. Try the nation's most popular flavors at The House of BBQ. From Memphis dry rubs and sweet and tangy Carolina vinegars to smoky Texas-style tastes and the Midwest's own Kansas City-style. National Harvest Festival showcases the talent and creativity of America's finest craftsmen! Here for 2014 you'll see the New Wild West Show with fancy trick riders and ropers, Native American dancers and more! Old Time Christmas: November 1 - December 30, 2014
Bring your entire family and celebrate the true meaning of this magical season amidst the glow of over 4 million dazzling lights. See the musical 5-story Special Effects Christmas Tree as it twinkles and dances in unison with over one million lights adorning the City's square. Emblazoned in over 100,000 lights, the Holiday Light Parade glides through the streets of the "City" twice each evening, weather permitting. The sounds of the season can be heard throughout the park with shows such as The Living Nativity and Frosty! More 2014 details coming soon. Weather permitting, your family's favorite rides and attractions will be open during An Old Time Christmas! Enjoy Fire-In-The-Hole, Flooded Mine, Frisco Sing-Along Steam Train, Geyser Gulch, Grandfather's Mansion and Marvel Cave.

  0-53 mph in 2.8 seconds & spiraling through the turns with "G" forces at speeds up to 64 mph.
